Technical Writer (Hybrid/Remote)

MCS Group is delighted to be working with a global company with a presence in the USA, UK, and Ireland over 200 people across their different locations and 40 here locally in Belfast, we are assisting this company in their search for a Technical Writer. The Technical Writer will join a team of ambitious individuals working on world class SAAS software solutions.

Our client builds world class end to end solutions from recruitment software to marketing and analytics. The Technical Writer will get the opportunity to work with some household names such as Sky!! They are continuously using cutting edge technologies and really want someone that is inquisitive and wants to be part of an innovative team, to provide customers with new and exciting features and platforms.

The Role

• You will write technical documentation for the client's core products.
• You will write new feature and enhancement documentation.
• You will be responsible for user documentation.
• You will be responsible for API documentation.
• You will be responsible for release notes.

The Person

• Experience writing user stories.
• Experience writing release notes.
• Experience in technical writing with SAAS products.
• Previous technical writing experience.
• You enjoy a collaborative approach.
• Ability to gather feedback from customers.
• Knowledge of Madcap flare or alternative products.
