We have a fantastic opportunity for a qualified accountant with a minimum 8 years PQE or proven equivalent experience to take on the position of Financial Planning & Commercial Analytics Manager based at Luton Airport, next to our state-of-the art flagship private terminal. Reporting to: EMEA Finance Director.
Key Stakeholders: MD & Area Director.
Overview: Approximately 50% Forecast and budget. 50% commercial analysis for ops team

Your new role:

You will dynamically lead the FP&CA team, proactively driving financial business partnering forward across the entire EMEA network.

This role is split with approximately 50% of your time based around forecast and budget and 50% on commercial analysis for the ops team, e.g. tendering opportunities, labour efficiency, acquisition of new sites etc.

About You:

+ Qualified accountant (minimum 8 Years PQE or proven equivalent experience)
+ Strong academic record (BA, BSc or equivalent)
+ Experienced in financial modelling, comfortable working with systems
+ People Management experience, with a proven ability to engage, motivate and lead a team
+ Proven ability to partner with business leaders at all levels
+ Proven experience in team leadership and development in a comparable environment
+ Excellent analytical, communication, presentation and influencing skills (both written and oral)
+ Ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, e.g. sales, finance, operations, head office
+ Proven self-starter with experience of being able to work independently, juggling and prioritising across workloads and consistently meeting deadlines
+ Strong attention to detail, yet also showing ability to identify and highlight the key material issues
+ Ability to explain financial information to financial and non- financial populations
+ Exposure to SAP BPC a bonus
