Company Tracker on our G17eco platform is the first app in the world that can map any company's sustainability initiatives directly to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG).

Founded in 2016, we are the brainchild of our Founder Manjula (Women in Fintech Powerlist & Best Female Led Investment Award) who was determined to create an organisation that would have no other agenda but to unite Government, Business, Civil society and Citizens for the delivery of the Sustainable Development Goals.

We now work with over 50 partners and have 15 distribution partners across the globe such as Hong Kong, US, Australasia, Middle East, Africa, South America and Europe.

Your next opportunity:

The position is to support the Sustainability team in scoping, analysis, creating and refining methodologies, in order to map, monitor, measure, manage and market the sustainability performance of businesses, financial institutions, civil society and nations on the G17Eco Platform.

+ Leading clients through sustainability transformation
+ Be a liaison between clients and sustainability team and other internal teams
+ Consulting on clients SDG contribution in a variety of industries and regions
+ Lead product development

Some of the Key Responsibilities:

Sustainability Analysis (approx 35% of your time):

+ Assist with the delivery of our products, contribute to client requirements in all areas of sustainability (social, economic, and environment) and impact measurement.
+ Ensure alignment with the SDGs and relevant solutions.
+ Identify metrics/data that need tracking, design reports / analytics based on collected data.
+ Keep track of different standards, frameworks, policies, regulation, and best practice.
+ Production of high quality, timely management information.

Client-Driven Work (approx 30% of your time):

+ Use of Machine Learning for marketing, sales, and product piloting using scraped data.
+ Identify and help resolve product gaps and to deliver client solutions.

Sustainability (approx 35% of your time):

+ Play an active role in advancing our sustainability strategy and informing decision making.
+ In collaboration with the Sustainability team identify legislation concerning reporting recommendations, ensure continuous improvement and help streamline processes.
+ Provide high challenge and high support at all levels to advance the G17Eco Platform, ensuring innovation, leadership and collaboration.
+ Establish and integrate Key Stakeholder expectations.

About You:

+ Must be able to work in the UK
+ 5-7 years professional and appropriate experience in finance, sustainability, and impact measurement
+ Knowledge of sustainability programmes for organisations or working in an advisory capacity to a range of organisations. Prior experience developing, refining, managing, and executing sustainability projects in a fast-paced multi-stakeholder environment
+ Excel – Should have moderate understanding of excel and should be able to create models, etc
+ Analytical skills – understanding the conceptual, bigger picture and breaking that down as well as analysing very specific data (reporting, finance etc)
+ Strong Research skill set – ability to draw out key information from large data sets and effectively capture it and convey to others


+ Advanced degree with relevance to Sustainability (preferred), Business or alternatively Bachelor's degree in engineering, equivalent degree or related domain experience
+ Ideally the candidate should have exposure to SMEs, Large Companies as well as financial services background and experience working across different industries
+ Fintech, tech or product experience in Index providers will be bonus
