We are looking for EMEA Quality and Inspection Manager to join our team based in Hersham, Surrey. e You would be collaborating with the EMEA Subcontracts & Procurement Director.

Key tasks and responsibilities - what you'll be doing
  • Manage, lead and mentor the regional inspection team ensuring processes and systems are followed.
  • Manage and lead the In-Service Inspection department, including, updating, and managing departmental procedures. Engaging with the United Kingdom Accreditation Service for annual audits, ensuring the ISI department retain their accreditation.
  • Interface with the Regional Procurement Center and Project Management teams to ensure suitable source inspection plans are developed and aligned with the overall project execution strategy.
  • Highlight discrepancies in the Source Inspection process, identify associated risks and propose specific action plans for underperforming suppliers and critical path items
  • Proactively manage high value, complex and schedule critical equipment, ensuring company quality and compliance objectives are met
  • Work with internal inspectors and external source inspection agencies to successfully inspect equipment such as compressor packages, pumps, vessels, switchgear, instrumentation, valves, pipe, and fittings.
  • Manage a workload of 40+ purchase orders of various commodities across multiple projects. Manage orders efficiently and effectively such that purchased equipment and associated documents are inspected on time to contractually agreed deadlines.
  • Have direct involvement with Supplier inspections and Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), when required, either in-person or remotely.
  • Ensure the material control database is continuously and accurately updated and any electronic filing is kept up to date and accurately maintained by themselves and the regional expediting team


What we're looking for
  • Extensive experience in inspection.
  • Good understanding of basic manufacturing processes
  • Knowledge and understanding of ISO17020
  • Thorough understanding of the Procurement function
  • Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, co-workers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent digital literacy and skills
  • Excellent leadership and decision-making skills
