Computershare are currently recruiting for a talented and enthusiastic Test Automation Engineer to join our team in Edinburgh.

A role you will love

The Test Automation Engineer works closely with the QA technical lead to design, build and enhance our test automation frameworks and capabilities and ensure that automated test solutions are successful in improving quality and testing efficiencies.

The role supports the up-lift of test automation capabilities in the scrum teams through technical guidance, education and mentoring.
  • Implement, maintain and enhance our test automation frameworks with technical support and direction from the QA technical lead
  • Collaborate with the QA technical lead and the delivery teams to define test automation strategies and solutions
  • Coach and mentorpeers andteams to enable them to contribute to the automated test effortand support theirprofessionaldevelopment.
  • Communicate the effectiveness of automated test solutions using meaningful metrics
  • Participate in working groups and communities, sharing knowledge and ideas to support continuous improvement across the department
  • Research emerging technologies/practices and propose improvementsand innovationsthat would benefit the business.
