A successful FinTech headquartered in London is looking for a Java Developer to join their growing engineering team on a remote first basis. Our clients mission is to help asset management firms to reduce the costs of trading and optimising their margin through their innovative and cutting-edge analytics platform. They are already partnered up with some of the biggest names in the financial industry.

You will be joining a fast-paced environment where you will be given ownership and autonomy yet benefiting from a collaborative setting. This is a great opportunity to work alongside and learn from experienced developers, including long-time open-source contributors.

  • Building new functionalities bringing value to clients
  • Expanding their cloud-native technology stack
  • Get a deeper understanding of clients portfolio data and implement analytics to run complex calculations
  • Extract and aggregate results for display
  • Partner with business analysts, quants, clients and other developers

  • Strong programming skills in Java
  • Experience working in the financial services industry
  • You have a product mindset and interest in building a business
  • Strong education background in a technical discipline
  • Familiarity with AWS based infrastructure is a bonus
