Assistant Accountant

Really excited to be recruiting for a manufacturing business with their search for an assistant accountant. This is a hybrid working role and provides study support.

The role of the assistant accountant will require:

• Data input onto Sage 50 from invoices and posting of journals; data manipulation / analysis in Excel; working in the bespoke back-office system; online data input for funders.
• Support on the transition to the new finance system (providing data and testing) and other tasks to support the finance team and the business in general.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Revolve around entering sales data, maintaining invoice finance reconciliations,
• Maintaining product costs in the system,
• Assisting in the production of the monthly management accounts and generally helping with the smooth running of the finance function.

This is a fantastic varied opportunitiy for someone early to mid way through their studies.
