As the Grants Programme Manager your role will involve the following important duties:
Responsible for ensuring appropriate advice and support is provided to individuals and organisations seeking funding.
Managing a caseload of grant applications and grants awarded from organisations and individuals; carrying out due diligence, visiting projects and liaising with external agencies.
Research and contribute to the development of new and existing grants programmes in line with the Trust's strategy.
Contribute to the ongoing improvement of processes and systems.
Contract management for relevant partnership grant schemes.
Manage the Trust's application process for accommodation for older people.
Provide the Communications Manager with grants content for the website and social media and assist in the development of the implementation of the social media plan.

As a successful Grants Programme Manager, you will have the following:
Educated to degree level or equivalent.
Substantial experience of grantmaking, including grantmaking processes.
Experience in outcome-based monitoring, evaluation and impact.
Experience of working in the voluntary sector.
Strong numerical skills with an ability to analyse and interpret financial statements.
Strong organisational and project management skills.
Excellent written and verbal communications skills, including the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
Knowledge of charity law.
Proficiency in using Grants Databases.
Driving licence and access to own transport essential as you will travel to different organisations seeking grants/support.
