The Accounts Receivable Assistant is responsible for all aspects of the accounts receivable function within a
specific territory. Working within the accounts department, the ideal candidate will be hard working
and enthusiastic with the ability to meet strict deadlines.

Client Details

Our client based in Abingdon is a market leader operating in the life sciences and pharmaceuticals industry. They pride themselves on their diverse, multi-national working environment and have experienced rapid growth over the last two years. They are looking to hire an immediately available Accounts Receivable Assistant to join their warm and welcoming team.


Accounts Receivable Assistant responsibilities:
  • Create and maintain customer accounts
  • Producing invoices, statements and credit notes
  • Posting daily cash receipts
  • Reconciling cash receipts to bank statements
  • Chasing up outstanding debts (credit control)
  • Working with other departments to resolve customer queries
  • Provide cover within in department when other staff are on leave.


The successful Accounts Receivable Assistant:
  • Fluent written and spoken English is essential
  • Demonstrable experience of working in a similar role
  • Possess excellent IT skills, including experience of working with Microsoft Excel.
  • Comfortable working in a fast paced environment
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent problem solving abilities
