A great opportunity for a Not for Profit charity as a Finance Officer based in Rochdale. The position is an immediate start on a temporary role. This role advised is on an hourly pay rate between £11.00 and £13.00.

Description
The key responsibilities will include, but may not be limited to;
- Provide support in the delivery of finance related services
- Reconciling petty cash and bank statements
- Maintaining debtor and creditor control
- Process invoices and payments accurately
- Sending out monthly statements and accurately sorting receipt note and purchase orders
- Producing associated reports and duties
- Maintain and update systems and records for analysis of statistical data
- Ensure financial procedures are carried out effectively
- Maintaining balances across all bank statements and cash functions, no less that month end
- Ensure administration of quarterly rent statements are completed
- To provide financial support to suppliers and employees
Profile
The successful candidate must possess the following skill set and experience;
- Experience within a financial background
- Experience of using financial systems, spreadsheets, and databases
- Able to work as part of a team and independently, when required
- Ability to communicate effectively to internal and external clients
- Able to organise and prioritise workload
- Good attention to detail and written skills
- Knowledge of accounting and budgeting procedures
- T. and computer literate
- Experience within housing and welfare background
- DBS Checked
