Finance Manager

This business have ambitious growth plans and this hire will be key to ensuring the finance function is fit for purpose on this growth journey. Reporting into a supportive Finance Director you will be given a high level of reponsibility and autonomy with the day-to day financial and administrative processes ensuring compliance with internal requirements such as control standards, standard operating processes, tax, legal and statutory requirements.

The successful candidate will be a chartered accountant who has trained in practice and ideally will have 2+ years post qualified experience. Long term progression for this role will be to step up into a Financial Controller position with a clear pathway to Finance Director further down the line. Duties include:

- Business partner with senior Commercial and Factory colleagues giving financial input (eg into costings, capex, costs etc)
- Manage the UK audit and corporation tax process
- Forecasts and budgeting
- Contribute to weekly operations meeting
- Contribute to weekly Commercial meeting
- Prepare quality weekly, monthly and annual reporting in line with Group and statutory requirements
- Ensure tax compliance & co-ordinate preparation of tax returns
- Execute and ensure effectiveness of internal controls
- Ensure compliance with group policies, processes, and standards
- Ensure integrity of the general ledger, including reconciling all balances on monthly basis
- Involvement with ERP implementation

Requirements:

- ACA/ACCA qualified from top 10 firm ideally

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- 2 Years Post qualification experience

- Experience in manufacturing ideally

- Ability to work under pressure
