An innovative business with over 50 years of experience within logistics is looking for a Project Manager to join their rapidly growing team. The business operates on a global level with multiple production facilities across the world. They provide truly bespoke logistics solutions for many of the world's most well-known organisations including Amazon. Project values can range from £100K to £30m.
Please note that, whilst the role is advertised as remote as you will have your home as contracted place of work, there is significant travel with the position - every week is different but an average week will include 2 to 3 days on client site (mainly UK) with the rest either working from home or the company's head office in Bedfordshire. During the weeks when commissioning and handover is taking place, you'll be on client site for the whole week. As a Project Manager in this business, you'll need to be commercial aware, process driven, comfortable in front of a customer and know how to manage people and contracts. Industry wise you don't need to be from logistics but will need to have an engineering design background within a regulated industry such as nuclear, automotive, defence, aerospace, medical device etc.
In return for your skills you'll receive a salary of up to £50K (perhaps a little more if you have logistics experience) + car + pension + healthcare. In addition, the company is committed to both training and development along with career progression.
