Casual Care Assistants (Richmond)

Working within one of our two Care Homes in Kew and Teddington, Richmond.

- Homemead Care Home (Teddington)
- Cecil Court Care Home (Kew)

Salary: £18,318 per annum (FTE)

The Offer

Our Care Assistant salary is £18,318 per annum for 37 hours of work, which is three shifts of 12 hours and 20 minutes each.

Whilst our headline hourly rate is £9.49 per hour, that includes a one hour paid break each day. The hourly rate for hours actually worked is therefore higher, £10.33 per hour of work.

Additional shifts are generally available for which we offer an enhanced rate of pay. We also offer double time for all bank holidays.

We can be flexible to accommodate other lengths of shift, for example covering our busiest times.

We are passionate about our colleagues learning, development & career progression, so we support our care colleagues with achieving their Care Certificates if required, which empowers our colleagues to deliver the best dementia care and support for our residents.

We also sponsor our care colleagues in various apprenticeship programmes from Adult Care Worker Level 2, up to Level 5 diploma qualifications in care management - depending on their roles.

Our colleagues enjoy the benefits of our Cycle to Work scheme and benefit from our Refer a Friend scheme. Depending on how long colleagues have worked with us, they enjoy enhanced maternity pay and enhanced pay when off work due to illness. Colleagues also enjoy paid breaks and enhanced pay when they work on bank holidays. Please visit our careers site to view more rewards and benefits we offer.
