What the job involves

As a key member of our People Experience and Culture team, you'lI lead and deliver great communications across Prostate Cancer UK to promote our people experience, and enable our colleagues, volunteers and trustees to make a real difference for the men we support.

You'll manage our internal communication channels, creative campaigns and engagement initiatives, and you'll contribute to the development and delivery of truly inclusive and dynamic strategies that ensure the continued growth of the organisation through our people.

In this highly varied role, you'll lead on our communications approach across key areas of the people experience spectrum and you'll help us embed hybrid working into our culture. You'll bring to life areas like our vision and values, our wellbeing programme and business continuity plans. And you'll work closely with the wider team to support our talent attraction and people development philosophy, our reward plans and our commitment to promoting Equality, Diversity & Inclusion in how we work.

What we want from you

You'll be a creative communicator and internal communications and engagement expert.

You'll have experience of shaping and leading communications and engagement initiatives that have shifted the dial on an organisation's culture. And you'll be passionate about people and put them at the heart of everything you do.

You'll be a brilliant writer with a keen eye for detail and track record of producing high quality work.

And you'll be insight-driven and focused on delivering value and impact.

You'll be super organised and you'll be great at leading and managing complex communications projects, building relationships with stakeholders and helping to connect all areas of an organisation.

We also offer a competitive benefits package, including generous leave entitlements, season ticket loans, a cycle to work scheme, an enhanced contributory pension scheme, life insurance and group income protection, as well as a Health Cash Plan and free advice and support on pretty much anything via our Employee Assistance Programme.

Our commitment

Our teams, supporters, partners, and those living with prostate cancer come from all walks of life. We draw upon the difference in who we are, what we've experienced and how we think to build a future where lives are not limited by prostate cancer. Not only is it the right thing to do, it makes our charity stronger and helps us reach more people. If you share our ambition, we would love to hear from you.

Closing date is the end of the day on Sunday 30 January 2022, but please note we will be shortlisting and interviewing candidates as applications come in, so please apply as soon as you can to ensure you're included, as we may close the vacancy early.
