You will be joining the Transformation Practice which is part of the Transformation, Innovation and Digital directorate (TID). TID are on hand to provide specialist, in-house support to other directorates and facilitate their respective transformation journey.

There are two elements to the Transformation Practice - the Portfolio Management Office (PMO) and Delivery (Programme and Project Managers). It's an exciting time to join the RCN as we build the team to deliver our 2022 plan and deliver on our strategic ambitions going forward. We have a number of large programmes of work and projects that require oversight and coordination to ensure we deliver the right activity, in the right way and at the right time. That's where the PMO comes in. We're working hard to be the place where a wide range of programmes and projects from across the RCN come together, overseeing delivery and owning the processes and frameworks that we follow to successfully deliver transformational change.

As a key member of the Transformation Practice you will be responsible for, developing our processes and frameworks, providing a centralised view of our change roadmap, providing consolidated progress reporting and insight across programmes and projects.

If you enjoy a fast paced, energetic environment and have a flare for simplifying programme documentation, providing effective support to programme and project teams and have ideas to share about how we can deliver transformational change more effectively, we'd like to hear from you. You will have a positive attitude, be a champion of change, done in the right way. You will need an in-depth understanding of programme and project management documentation and be able to thrive in a changing and ambiguous environment. As a great stakeholder manager, you will have the ability to simplify complex ideas and present them to a wide audience. A firm understanding of Microsoft applications and an aptitude for picking up and using new software packages.
