I am partnering exclusively with a leading, influential business in the agricultural sector. They're looking for an Accounts Assistant to join them on an initial 6 month FTC. There is potential the role could become permanent after this period. This role will support the wider finance function with day transactional tasks (taking ownership of the purchase and sales ledger) whilst also assisting with some adhoc month end duties. The company have worked in the office throughout the pandemic and see good benefit of being in the office, this role will be office based 5 days per week. The business are in a remote location so access to your own vehicle is essential. They offer free parking and excellent perks.

The company use Sage so any experience of this system would be beneficial.

Key tasks:
- Purchase Ledger
- Sales Ledger
- Expenses
- Credit card reconciliation
- Fixed Asset Register
- Adhoc reporting tasks
- Assisting with audit
- Cover holiday/sickness for other finance team members

Key Skills:
- Minimum of two years in a previous role
- Knowledge of multi currency invoice processing
- Ability to work with speed, accuracy and professionalism
- Good communicator
- Able to work as part of a team but also be able to stand on their own two feet
- Be studying towards their AAT or equivalent
