Assistant Finance Manager

A leading education provider is seeking a part-qualified Deputy Finance Manager to act as the Regional FM's right hand. The successful candidate will play an integral role, ensuring the robust financial management, governance and administration of all entities within the region.

Tasks will include:

• Production of sustainable annual budgets and long-term financial plans
• Production of periodic budget monitoring reports
• Internal control checklists and processing the end of period returns.
• Support and line manage a team of Finance Assistants to ensure that all requests for purchase orders and invoices, banking and payroll data are promptly actioned.

About you:

• AAT qualified as a minimum or Part Qual CIMA/ACCA
• Experience of Financial Management, Financial Systems, Budgetary controls
• Confident with Excel
• Be prepared to travel on occasion to various sites in the region (Could be once per week, possibly less depending on business needs
