Project Manager - Reg Reporting (Cap Markets) - EMIR/ Dodd Frank/ CFTC - £850 p/day (Umbrella)

Harvey Nash are currently supporting the hire of an experienced Regulatory Reporting Project Manager to form part of the Regulatory Change team within the Private Banking arm of a Global Banking Organisation.
  • £850 p/day (Inside IR35 via Umbrella)
  • 6 months (initial duration view to extend)
  • London - (2 days WFH once Covid restrictions ease)

Role Background:

This experienced Project/Programme Manager will be responsible for execution of a couple of regulatory projects (EMIR 3.0/ CFTC Re-write) as part of a consolidated program of work in order to ensure that Bank is meeting its obligations in respect of upcoming regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Define and lead the detailed analysis working with Front Office, Product, Control functions and Infrastructure teams in order to understand the changes necessary due to the upcoming Regulatory deadlines
  • Execute a program of work by defining the necessary implementation plans and establishing the appropriate governance and managing them on an ongoing basis
  • Lead and manage Steering Committees identifying, managing and escalating issues, risks and dependencies as appropriate, while working with the various teams in order to define necessary solutions and mitigation plans
  • Develop and lead the robust change plans to include internal & external communication plan and training plans
  • Aid with development of business requirement documents as well as test scripts (as required)


Experience/Skills:
  • Knowledge of EMIR/Dodd Frank regulations as well as any work in other regulatory related topics (e,g MiFID II/FMIA/SIX)
  • Knowledge and experience of implementation of regulations, preferably relating to regulatory reporting
  • Capital Markets experience is a must. Experience in Private Banking / Wealth Management or Asset Management business is an advantage
