Your new company
Your new company is a thriving charitable organisation who is looking to appoint a Project Accountant on a interim basis, to assist with the process of transferring to a new accounting software. This role is part time, 3-4 days per week.
Your new role
Within your new role, you will be reporting to the Head of Finance. The sole purpose of this role is to assist the company with the implementation of a new accounting package including assisting with the chart of accounts design, end-user training and in-house documentation preparation. In addition to this, you will be needed to end with the staff absences due to project training meaning that you will be involved with Ledger upkeep and monthly reporting including budgets and forecasting.The role is between 21-30 hours per week and can be worked flexibly.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed, it is essential that you have had experience with implementing a new accounting software package in a previous role. You will have worked in a similar position recently and be fully versed with all aspects of accounts including Ledgers, Budgets, Forecasting and Profit and Loss. CIMA or ACCA qualification are desirable but not essential. The client will consider someone who is AAT qualified but has the relevant experience.
