Job Title: Teaching Assistant - Autism (ASC)

Location: Newham

Pay Rate: £70 - £85 per day

Start Date: Immediately

As we get started with 2022, Teaching Personnel are on the lookout for talented individuals to work within our Primary Schools across Newham. They are actively seeking Teaching Assistants who are comfortable working with children with Special Educational Needs including Autism (ASC) to support them on an ongoing basis this academic year. We have a variety of short and long term roles available depending on what will suit your needs, as well as day-to-day cover roles.

We are seeking those who will be confident supporting children with Autism (ASC) within a mainstream setting. Although no prior experience working within schools is required, you will ideally have some exposure supporting children with additional needs. This role will suit those who are looking to gain valuable experience within the classroom, as well as those with long term goals of becoming a Qualified Teacher.

With immediate starts available running until the end of the academic year in July 2022, we are looking to speak to those interested in the roles as soon as possible so please apply today if this sounds like the role for you. Please note you will require a DBS on the update service to commence work, which can be put in process at the point of registration.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. Please see faqs for details.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.

Teaching Personnel is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. We offer all our registered candidates FREE child protection and prevent duty training. All candidates must undertake or have undertaken a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Full assistance provided.
