The business you'll be working for a known consultancy within the Cambridgeshire tech scene, but beyond that, they're an international tech consultancy, with operations worldwide. The beauty of consultancies is the variety of work on the day to day. It's ultimately not for everyone, given how priorities can regularly change, projects can shift, and your focus will often need to be in multiple places at once, but the engineers who will be interested in consultancies, are those who enjoy variety in their day to day.
Your day to day will involve a hardware technology focus. You'll help build your own teams, sell more work to clients, manage multi-disciplinary technology teams out of Cambridge to deliver work. This is a senior level opportunity which will suit someone who is looking to build something, using the business's resource & technical capability, within the consumer space.
In return you'll receive a salary between £81,000 - £121,000 per year, transport allowance, a bonus of 15%, 11% pension, life assurance and private healthcare.
A deep and broad understanding of consumer electronics and the supporting technologies
Experience as technical lead of complex multi-disciplinary technology development projects Expert in complex technical project management
Expertise in at least one of these technical fields - Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical or Embedded Software Engineering
Commercial experience in structuring complex proposals, effort estimation and sales conversion.
