ARE YOU A PARAMEDIC PRACTITIONER WITH THE SKILLS TO UNDERTAKE CLINICAL ASSESSMENTS FROM YOUR OWN HOME?
Quick Overview
With telephone consultations playing a vital role in the delivery of primary and urgent care services, remote clinical roles are becoming more common place. We are working with a large NHS Trust who require remote Nurse Practitioners to provide telephony based care to the local population.
- Work from home
- £40-£50ph (dependent on shift and pay type - *inside IR35 i.e. no limited companies*)
- Ad Hoc locum shifts
- Paid training and induction provided (must be able to attend 1 day on site induction, before remote work commences)
The responsibilities of a Remote Paramedic Practitioner
- To have the clinical competence to make clear independent decisions with confidence and communicate these effectively to a wide range of patients
- To maintain appropriate clinical records, ensuring that documentation clearly demonstrates Guidelines and Policies for Records and Record keeping.
- To support the MDT, comprising of nurses, paramedics, pharmacists, GPs and call handlers
What you'll need to succeed as a Remote Paramedic Practitioner
- Registered HCPC Paramedic
- Substantial autonomous practice experience (2yrs+) supported by qualifications
- Experience in advanced clinical examination
- Be able to evidence minor illness and minor illnesses qualifications
- Independent prescribing qualifications (desirable but not essential)
