Full Time 37 hours per week
Devon Public Health Nursing have an exciting opportunity for a full time team leader position in the Southern locality team.
This is a great opportunity for anyone wishing to join the leadership team in Devon or for current practitioners in the service to further develop their leadership and management skills.
The post holder will be responsible for the day-to-day clinical and operational leadership and management of public health nursing teams in the Southern locality working collaboratively with local team leader colleagues and the wider Devon leadership team.
They will ensure the delivery of an effective and appropriate service that identifies need within families, schools and communities and addresses health inequalities. This includes first line safeguarding advice and supervision, identification and management of risk, and working in partnership with stakeholders and the wider community.
In addition, the post holder will support the development, implementation and audit of service improvements and standards to ensure the delivery of needs-led evidence-based care that supports outcomes aligned to local and national priorities
