Are you a graduate looking to embark on your career in education?
A mainstream Primary school in Swindon, is seeking an SEN Teaching Assistant to support a child who suffers with SEMH. Candidates must have a minimum of three months experience working with children with learning/mental disabilities. Graduates with degree in psychology, behaviour science or criminology would be ideal as you will be shadowing professionals with experience within the field. You will also be able to add to your portfolio by having hands on experience with pupils. Please note that having a degree is not a pre-requisite for this role.
The Primary school is looking for dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants who can commit for the full academic year. Candidates must be passionate, energetic and enthusiastic when supporting children with learning/mental disabilities.
The successful applicant will hold one to one sessions with the pupil therefore it is essential they have excellent communication skills and able build a good rapport with the children.
