Marketing Assistant - New Forest - Salary up to £18,012

A Marketing Assistant is required for our client based in the New Forest area. As the Marketing Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting team members in promoting through mainly digital communications and in-person events and provide administrative support to the marketing department.

  • Work with the Marketing team to deliver integrated marketing campaigns
  • Monitor campaigns and digital activity and produce reports in line with the marketing campaign strategy
  • Provide high levels of customer service when dealing with telephone and email enquiries from both internal and external stakeholders
  • Support the production of a range of print and electronic promotional materials aimed at a variety of audiences including students, parents, press and others
  • Obtain quotes for promotional materials and merchandise with the ability to negotiate for best value from suppliers
  • Proactively assist with organising open events and other engagements to ensure successful events
  • Organise and attend meetings, taking minutes and noting action points where agreed
  • Provide administrative support to include diary management, making appointments, booking meeting rooms, answering telephone calls and managing group mailboxes and the Helpdesk system
  • Represent the establishment and promote the work of the Marketing team at internal and external events, working with colleagues to deliver relevant marketing activities across all areas
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of all aspects of both full and part-time curriculums and its facilities
  • Undertake any other duties that may be reasonably required.

Key Skills and experience:
  • Previous experience of working within a similar role
  • Ideally have an interest and experience in marketing, events, PR or any related areas
  • Highly computer literate, with excellent skills in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Knowledge and ability related to social media platforms, their functionality, targeting dynamics and content creation
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Personable, well-organised, confident and enthusiastic
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships
  • Willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends

This is a full time role, working 37 hours per week.
