If you are looking for your first job in finance then this could be it. Working for a business who have more than doubled size over the last two years, who have new investors on board and significant future growth planned, you'll get close to the inner workings of a multi million t/o business.
Manufacturing on site, in Yorkshire, they are experts in what they do. They have a cool brand and retail presence.
They are now looking for a Finance Administrator, in a job that will develop at a similar pace. It's an excellent entry level job that will enable you to get your hands dirty and expose you to all aspects of finance, working under a brilliant CFO, who really knows their stuff and will support your personal development.
Day to day, you'll be approving invoices, entering them on to Sage and be putting payment runs together. Reconciling invoices and keeping all payments on track.
You'll also support the business with general finance admin, exposing you to many areas of finance.
As part of a small team you'll also get involved in other head offfice admin functions particularly HR focused. This can be creating offer letters, issuing and chasing contracts and processing expenses. Your high leves of attention to detail, natural numeracy and ability to pick up new things, mean you can add value in everything you do.
With some finance qualifications to back up your skills or an education leaning towards finance, business or economics this is a great job for someone looking to kickstart their finance career. Alternatively if you are looking for a HR career but have an aptitude for numbers the company can support either career path as they grow.
