Financial Accountant

Our client is the UK Head Office of a Family Office, operating out of Mayfair, with a multi billion dollar investment portfolio including Telecoms, Hospitality, Real Estate, Technology and most recently Satellites. The Role

• Preparation of monthly and quarterly management accounts for the head office/investment holding company and it's subsidiaries
• Preparation of monthly reporting packs including stakeholders reports, cashflow etc.
• Liaising with external auditors and closing the annual statutory audit within tight deadlines
• Ensuring statutory compliance in accordance with UK and Jersey laws (such as VAT returns)
• Timely bank payments (this includes invoice payment processing including coordination of approvals, setting up payments etc)
• Review of internal controls and processes, identifying and recommending areas of improvements
• Governance of subsidiary's books of accounts including their policies and procedures
• Additional ad hoc projects

Requirements

• ideally ACA, CA, ACCA (or equivalent) qualified accountant with 1 year experience within a Financial Reporting role
• Experience in accounts preparation
• Advanced MS Excel skills
• Fluent in English in reading, speaking, listening and writing
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Keen to develop and continuous learning in a fast pace environment
• Embraces new challenges
