Group Reporting Manager - Private Health Care - Immediate Start

This is a maternity cover role, located in central London and specifically within the Group Financial Reporting team. The department's role is to provide first class financial reporting and analysis to support the needs of a significant business in a complex and evolving market. With the diverse range of various stakeholders to which the group reports in this challenging environment, it is pivotal that all financial reporting is both accurate and timely.

This role will be the main point of contact within the Group Reporting team for shareholder reporting and liaison on shareholder queries. It will also include adapting the reporting to meet their requirements.

Role & Responsibilities:
  • Developing and preparing the monthly reporting packs
  • Managing the monthly, quarterly and annual forecasting processes including the P&L, Balance sheet and Cashflow statement
  • Key point of contact for all financial reporting queries
  • Preparation and review of annual statutory financial statements and meeting annual deadlines for delivery of accounts to shareholders, lenders and regulators.
  • Preparation and review of year end reporting deliverables for the various stakeholders.
  • Co-ordinating and responding to auditor and stakeholder queries in a timely fashion.
  • Assist in the implementation of the new accounting system
  • Lead on implementation of new accounting standards

About you:
  • You will be a degree educated, qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA or equivalent) who ideally will have held a challenging role in a dynamic, well controlled, multi-site service driven organisation or will have worked for a big four or top mid-tier practice.
  • Previous experience managing a team (4)
  • Experience within a multi-site organisation is essential
  • Strong accounting technical expertise - staying up to date with changes (IFRS, FRS101 and FRS 102 required).
  • Strong complex group consolidation experience
  • Management of shareholder reporting and relationships
  • Previous experience working in a Group Reporting function in industry
