We are looking for an experienced Assistant Shop Manager to join our brand new Sevenoaks team on a part time basis, to assume full responsibility for all aspects of the shop in the absence of the Shop Manager and provide support and leadership to the volunteers.

You will have a good level of understanding of High Street and High End retail fashion and merchandising, with previous experience in a customer facing environment. You will have previously worked with sales and profit targets and be able to work under pressure.

You will have the ability to adapt to a changing workload, using your own initiative and effectively manage your time. The role involves working alongside and assisting in the management and development of a team of dedicated volunteers; you will have the skills to prioritise workload and provide guidance and training.

You will be able to demonstrate good verbal and written skills. IT use is expected, and will require working knowledge of Microsoft packages and Zoom. This role will require moving and handling and will also require flexible working across the seven day trading week.

Demelza provides specialist care and emotional support for children and young people with serious and terminal conditions and their loved ones, across Kent, East Sussex and South East London.

Money raised through our retail outlets helps us to be there for children and families when they need us most.

Apply now to join #TeamDemelza and be part of our passion and dedication to be there when we are needed the most.
