Duties of CNC Setter/Operator

· Setting and operating fanuc controlled lathes safely and efficiently

· General CNC machine set up and trouble shooting

· Able to read and edit programmes

· Carrying out first off inspections using handheld gauges, micrometers and verniers

· Producing high volume batch work to tight tolerances

Requirements of CNC Setter/ Operator

· Detailed understanding of engineering drawing, tooling selection, work holding and cutting strategy

· A minimum of 3 years recent manufacturing experience

· Able to operate fanuc controls

· Ability to implement and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

· Fastener's experience would be advantageous, but not essential

· Hours of work are 40 per week Monday - Thursday 7.30am to 4.00pm, Friday 7.30am to 3.30pm
