Salary - Competitive but dependent on experience

About the company:-
We are currently working with a very highly regarded and forward thinking Fresh Produce business who, as a result of significant growth in the last few years, are looking to appoint an experienced Commercial Account Manager. As a leader in their field, they have an impressive history of delivering great results to a number of Major Retailers. They have a reputation which is second to none and great track record of retaining and developing their staff.

The Role:-
You will be working closely with the Senior Commercial team and will be responsible for managing and developing a couple of their key retail accounts. They have achieved great results with these customers and are looking for someone who can continue this development. You will be responsible for negotiating customer pricing and managing the inevitable tenders. You will be acting as the customer champion for your accounts, ensuring your voice is heard and the accounts are serviced appropriately. You will be afforded a lot of autonomy to do this.

The Candidate:-
A background in Fresh Produce would be a distinct advantage. But more importantly, you will need to have Commercial experience managing one or more Top 6 retailers in a Fresh Food category. Attitude is crucial. You will need to be a team player and be willing to step outside of your job description should the need arise. The business has done really well on the back of the whole team pulling together and operating as one, so team fit is critical.
