Senior Procurement Manager - Midlands:
Eden Brown Synergy are working in partnership with a leading NHS Trust based in the Midlands who are looking to appoint an interim Senior Procurement Manager to lead the Supply Chain Management and Commercial activities for all IT Contracts, Programmes and Projects, you will achieve this by acting as an internal Procurement Business Partner working closely alongside the trusts' IT services department. The trust is well known for its forward-facing approach and would be an excellent place for an IT procurement specialist to develop and enhance their management skills.
Your new role as Senior Procurement Manager:
As the Procurement Manager you will be working alongside a dynamic specialist team made up of the Clinical and Transactional Procurement and the Market Management team to facilitate the running of the trusts Hospitals via the supply of high-quality goods and services at low costs. You will achieve this by working alongside the team to provide a strategic service for internal and external customers, leading on specific projects within a portfolio of projects and programmes to deliver high value, improved patient care and cost efficiency savings. You will also be leading the procurement function for a designated team across a flexible customer base and will assist the trust in the delivery of it's annual workplan, ensuring that all performance key milestones and supplier KPI's are monitored, achieved, and exceeded. Finally, you will deliver advice and guidance to the trust, ensuring that projects and procurement are legally compliant and developed in line with national guidance.
The Experience & Qualifications Required:
The successful candidate will be a registered full member of the MCIPS, ideally holding a degree in a relevant field or having an equivalent level of experience. The candidate must also have experience of procuring within the IT field, alongside having experience of working within procurement in the NHS, finally they'll have excellent Analytical, Communications and Negotiation skills.
