Technical Facilities Manager

We have the perfect role for you if you are looking to breakthrough into a management career within the FM industry sector.

This position will provide you with the steppingstone on your career path and take the next level in your career from site contract manager into account management.

You will be part of a team of middle management in managing the delivery of total FM services to a major business critical facility that has truly international status.

In this position you will have the autonomy to run the delivery of FM services across a specific division with the support of a senior management team.

You will be involved in the client liaison, team management, identifying areas of growth on the contracts, directing the FM delivery team, producing management reports and dealing with personnel and specialist sub-contractors.

The Package for Technical Facilities Manager

* £55,000 starting salary

* 25 days holiday plus bank holidays

* Annual bonus (to date this has been paid every year)

The Role of the Technical Facilities Manager

You will be joining a very well-established management team on a very specific key client account that has been in the business for many years and is expected to grow even further.

The company provides a total Facilities Management Service to a large portfolio of commercial offices, mixed used events centres, and retail environments. This particular contract is on a business-critical centre, not a data centre or banking environment but essential that Electrical continuity is maintained 24/7.

Your Background

Ideally, we are looking for an Engineering qualification and experience in managing or supervising the activities of engineers within a business critical environment.

We recognise that Engineering skills are transferable across industry sectors so would be keen to hear from you if you have worked in environments with back-up power, standby generators, UPS etc.

Perhaps you have worked in high-speed manufacturing, pharma-chem, banking, oil and gas, military applications, power generation or data centres.
