We are seeking an Internal Communications and Engagement Officer for our Government client based in London. This is an initial 4 month contract paying between £300 - £369/Day Inside IR35.

This role is remote at present, but you must be able to attend the office when required.

This role is inside IR35 - Due to the service of the role it will now be based on an Umbrella solution.

Role Profile:

• They use communication expertise - which you can develop in the job - to advise leaders and teams on how to engage their people across the world (in 275+ locations), to make this a more effective and happier organisation.
• This job is at the heart of their efforts to better engage and communicate with colleagues around the world
• You will oversee key areas of our internal communication work, from Ministers' policy priorities to the corporate issues that staff really care about, and help to shape the development of our communication channels
• You will take a leading role in the planning, delivery and evaluation of their internal communication activity, overseeing a range of priority campaigns.
• You will partner with Directorates and Posts to provide strategic internal communication advice, ensuring that we reach the right audience at the right time through the right channel
• You will have the opportunity to travel to diplomatic Posts overseas to help you understand and engage with our audiences, including local staff
• You will bring creativity and new ideas to develop and improve our internal communication channels, including a brand new global intranet, 'Stream' video platform and internal social media, to be launched shortly
• You will engage across Whitehall and externally, developing networks to help join up HMG's internal communication effort overseas
