Production Operative - Mechanical

Pertemps Bristol are recruiting Mechanical Production Operatives for ongoing contract work at a company in Weston Super Mare, who specialise in refurbishing engines and gearboxes

- £10.82 per hour
- 37 hour working week
- Monday to Thursday 07.30-1600, Friday 07.00-1200
- Over time paid at x1.5
- 25 days holiday per year pro rata
- Free parking on site or easy access by public transport

About the Job

- Assembly of engines and gearboxes for the automotive industry
- Working to mechanical engineering drawings
- Inspection / measurement of parts and components

Training can be provided, making this an excellent opportunity for someone from a mechanical background looking for progression in their career

The right candidate

- Previous experience in mechanical assembly, bench assembly work, production work
- Mechanically minded with the ability to use various hand tools
