Alice Rose Recruitment is currently partnered with a one the leading nationwide FM services providers to over 2000 locations in corporate, energy, healthcare, educations, and leisure. My client is looking to hire a Technical Manager to join their team in a blue-chip account between Oxford Circus and Canary Wharf.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced engineer who has an outstanding understanding of the running and maintenance within a commercial building. Ideally you will need to be electrically biased with a solid HVAC background.
Role Responsibility
* To supervise a team of skilled employees and sub-contractors to ensure the safe and efficient delivery of statutory PPM and reactive maintenance across Office Buildings in London.
* Ensure that safety is a key priority, and that safety performance is under target
* Ensure that maintenance tasks and inspections are executed as per contract requirements
* Scope all jobs and produce work packs including JSA/WAPS & Safe working procedures
* Undertake 1st line personnel management
* Undertake site inspections and audits of tools and equipment
* Utilise company IT systems including Synergy (CAFM) system
* Carry out planned maintenance routines on M&E equipment
The Candidate
* Training and experience in one or more given trades such as heating/air conditioning, plumbing/boiler repair, electrical.
* Possess the leadership skills necessary to direct the work of the maintenance team
* Supervisory experience
* Ability to effectively use Microsoft Office programmes
* Working knowledge of blueprints and electrical, HVAC, plumbing
* Working knowledge of operation of heavy equipment
* Skill in reading, interpreting, and applying information in technical manuals and other documents
