As a Psychology teacher you will be an effective teacher who can demonstrate thorough A-Level curriculum knowledge and teaches and assesses effectively to be able to challenge a student's learning.

Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
  • Planning, preparing and delivering engaging lessons that are well-resourced
  • Marking students' work regularly
  • Ensuring that students' behaviour allows learning to take place
  • Track the students' progress and identify students who are underachieving in the subject and, where necessary, create and implement effective plans of action to support those students

To be considered, it is essential that you have:
  • QTS
  • The ability to teach the A-Level age and ability range, therefore being a good communicator
  • The ability to deliver creative teaching to engage student interest
  • A rigorous and effective use of assessment for learning
  • The ability to motivate students to achieve their full potential
