Full Time Teaching Position

I am currently working with a great school on an exciting new role in the Hatfield area. The school are looking for a DT Teacher that can teach across Key stage 3 and 4 to join them ASAP. They are open to the specialism of DT that the teacher can teach. The school are looking for an excellent DT Teacher to join them on a long term supply contract. There is a permanent position on offer for the right candidate.

The School:

• Caters for key stage 3 and 4 pupils with social, emotional and mental health difficulties
• Is a well-established and highly regarded school in the area
• Provide an individualised education programme for each of their students
• Supportive SLT and friendly team of teachers

The Role:

• Full time (Monday - Friday) term time
• Will involve small group work with a maximum of 10 students in the class
• Will be to teach young individuals that have found large mainstream settings difficult
• You will be responsible for supporting the student's educational, social and emotional development

About You

•Qualified DT Teacher (QTS/QTLS)
•Able to teach DT Teacher across KS3/KS4
• An understanding of SEN and managing challenging behaviours
• To be highly motivational to encourage the students to be the best they can
•A good sense of humour and resilient character
