Job Overview
The team is commercially driven and focussed on selling to drive a direct response to get their existing customers to purchase their products. This role is to put together campaigns via direct mail, promotional email/SMS/ app push by liaising with SMEs to get the best comms out to their customers. You will also need to review the campaign results and report on your findings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own, build, plan and manage the monthly newsletter to our base customers (end to end). Manage the critical path for each edition. Chair content planning sessions and work with stakeholders to build interesting and useful content as well as supporting key business messages/initiatives to positively drive customer perception. Performing subject line and content module tests and formulating themes. Analysing overall performance for each edition and implementing optimisation opportunities.
  • Production and execution of marketing messages across various channels (SMS, MMS, e-mail, push notification, DM). SMS will be written in-house, all other communications briefed and managed through CVM agencies. Brief external creative agencies and manage the campaign production process. Write engaging and informative agency briefs that clearly communicate the activity taking place and the desired customer response/take-out. Assess and manage the creative output of our CVM marketing agency. Have a clear opinion on the quality of the proposed work providing clear and structured feedback when required.
  • Ensure all marketing activity reflects our brand strategy and tone of voice and that all communications are legally compliant and drive a positive response (careful management of call to action and message impact essential with clear focus on driving digital behaviours)
  • Track and report on the impact of all marketing communications making clear recommendations on how we can further increase brand appreciation and customer engagement. Test and learn to identify how we can positively influence deliverability and customer impact. Drive a culture of continual improvement and message optimisation. Test & learn executions with a clear view on deliverability and impact. Use learnings to make clear recommendations and deliver appropriate change.
  • Develop campaigns with a clear lifecycle management approach. Identify appropriate campaign execution touchpoints and triggers. Manage the scheduling and rules that determine message deployment and take direct ownership for message performance.
  • Ensure Customer Experience is at the heart of all marketing activity generated. Develop, challenge and review campaigns with a clear consideration for how they impact customer's perception and brand experience.


Experience needed
  • Knowledge of campaign briefing, design and testing. Able to think both creatively and analytically to deliver compelling campaigns.
  • Experience in subscription services would be ideal
  • Experience in direct marketing
  • Highly customer focused with ability to pull together complex customer journeys to ensure the best experience is delivered.
  • Confident stakeholder management skills with a natural ability to influence across all levels of the organisation
  • Able to operate within a fast-paced, highly competitive and demanding commercial environment.
  • Strong project management skills are required in order to manage multiple requirements across challenging timelines.
  • Able to focus on priorities with a proactive 'can-do' attitude.
