Bolton Council is seeking to recruit 2 interim Financial Administrators to play an important role in the Finance Income & Assessment Team.

Hours: 37 per week

Contract: Initially until 01/04/22

Purpose of the Role: To assist in the provision of financial services to the department

Main Duties:
  • Collate information from various sources to charge clients for services received;
  • Update and maintain records on spreadsheets and other systems;
  • Deal with queries from clients and the public eg. regarding charges for services, and sending out standard letters, forms, etc;
  • Be responsible for the administration and processing of payments due to suppliers.

The successful candidates will:
  • Have strong numeracy and organisational skills
  • Be effective communicators
  • Be able to process data quickly and accurately
  • Have experience of working in a similar setting and be conversant with Microsoft applications such as Excel and Word and be comfortable using IT systems.
