Health Care Assistant

We are an established Health Care Agency providing Health Care Assistants and Senior Health Care Assistants into the private healthcare industry. Establishments that we cover include private care and nursing homes, and supported living environments.

We are looking for skilled Health Care Assistants and Senior HCA's to join our team, that are confident and comfortable working with elderly service users with a variety of illnesses including dementia and alzheimer's. The right person will need to be able to interact directly with patients, providing comfort and transportation, monitoring their vital signs and assisting with daily living needs.

Your Role:

* Provide personal care for residents on the floor and/or a 1-2-1 basis

* General assistance and guidance with daily tasks

* Involvement with social activities and entertainment

* Aid every individual with living as independently as possible

* Flexible shift patterns available

Requirements:

* You must have experience within the healthcare industry

* You must be confident using hoisting equipment

* You must be confident working alone on a 1-2-1 setting where required

* Compassionate and caring attitude

* Reliability to work shifts that are accepted

An enhanced and transferable DBS is required, but this can be ordered if the position is offered to you
