MLC Partners are working with a London based NHS organisation who are looking to recruit a Senior Communications Officer for an initial 3 month contract.
The successful candidate will support the delivery of the stakeholder management strategy, including: planning stakeholder engagement activities, providing targeted information to inform external stakeholders of the Trusts work, using data effectively in communications and making use of other communication channels, including media and social media where appropriate.
You will work with the Stakeholder Communications Manager to deliver the stakeholder engagement strategy, including relationship management with pan-London stakeholders including GPs as well as monitoring public affairs.
You will assist in producing Parliamentary and London assembly briefings ensuring high quality responses delivered to deadline.
Support the wider team to deliver the communications strategy in a collaborative and professional manner.
* Proven experience of developing, implementing and evaluating public relations campaigns to support corporate/local initiatives
* Proven experience in a public affairs/ external relations function
* Experience of working effectively to influence others, locally, regionally or nationally
* Experience (or demonstrable appreciation) of the challenges facing the NHS
This role will be split 50/50 between home and office working, so you must be prepared to travel into the London. This role is considered inside IR35 and will be paid via an Umbrella company
