Fantastic new Trainee Finance Assistant opportunity - No Finance experience required - AAT studiers required

Our client, an established global business in Chelmsford, has a new opportunity for a Trainee Finance Assistant, to join their dynamic accounts and finance team. You will be a current AAT studier who has successfully completed level 1 & 2, now looking to progress towards completion of the AAT qualification. The role will be worked on a rotational basis, so you can develop in different areas and gain a broader accounts knowledge A full and comprehensive study package is offered.

Responsibilities:
  • Performing supplier statement reconciliations
  • Reviewing the Accounts Payable inbox moving/replying to emails
  • Processing of supplier/contractor invoices
  • Ensuring invoices are processed in a timely manner with relevant purchase orders and approvals
  • Assist with payments
  • Cooperating with ad hoc admin tasks

The ideal candidate will have:
  • Qualified with GCSE's (or equivalent) in English Language & Maths
  • Current AAT studier - completion of level 1 & 2 essential
  • Good written & verbal communication skills
  • strong team player with a flexible and can-do approach
  • Be able to organise and prioritise a challenging and varied workload
  • Good MS, Excel, and Word skills

  • Fully funded AAT study package on a day release basis
  • Located in Chelmsford - free parking
  • Salary £15,000 to £18,000 dependent on experience
