Kenton Black Finance are delighted to offer an Audit & Accounts Semi-Senior position within one of North Manchester's leading and well established Accounting Firms and Business Advisors.

This individual will be joining a growing and expanding team. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who want to work in a diverse office with fantastic training and development services.


They offer flexible working hours over a 36.15 hour week. After an initial induction period you will have the opportunity to work a hybrid role with a minimum of 3 days in the office per week.

As an Audit & Accounts Semi-Senior your main duties will include:

- Being a key member of the audit team and also conducting audits from planning to review stage.
- Preparation of Sole Trader, Partnership and LLP accounts.
- Building long-lasting relationships with clients while impressing them daily.
- Completion of Corporate, Personal and Partnership Tax Returns.
- Supporting Seniors with a large portfolio of clients that ranges in industry and size.
- VAT Return preparation and ad hoc book keeping.
- Supporting Seniors and Managers to deliver amazing advice and service.
- Preparation of year end accounts for Limited companies.
- Management Accounts (experience would be advantageous).

They often like to invite you to events including "Wine Tasting", "Bongo Bingo" and various charity events amongst others.


They require a competent level of I.T. skills including Microsoft Applications Word and Excel as well as good working knowledge of Accounting and Taxation software most notably CCH, Xero and Sage and QuickBooks.

A full clean UK driver's license is desirable but not essential at this time.

A minimum of two years' experience in a similar position is essential.


For the successful candidate ACA/ ACCA study support will be offered for those who require it towards their ACCA/ICAEW qualification as well as a competitive salary, additional company benefits and ongoing support on both a personal and professional level, not forgetting those all important social days out. This is a hybrid working role with 3 days in the office, after the initial training period.
