Sheridan Maine are pleased to be working in partnership with a leading business in Andover who are seeking an Accountant to assist and support the existing accounts team on a long term temporary basis.
Working closely with the Financial Controller and Managing Director, the role is required due to an increase in business and additional workload. The successful candidate will have prior experience of working for a small to medium size business and would be happy to undertake a wide variety of tasks.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Assisting with the audit VAT Returns Overseeing the payable and receivables Cashflow forecasting Management reporting Oversee payroll transactions and reporting Bank and treasury payments
It is essential to work well within a team and be highly motivated. A good understanding of accounting systems and Excel is also a necessity.
Own transport is required due to the location however locally based candidates may rely on public transport.
The position is to start as soon as possible so applicants available within a few weeks would be preferred.
