anzuk are currently working in partnership with a secondary school in Somerset who are looking for a full time Art & Photography Teacher. The school has been rated as 'good' by Ofsted but continues to have a strong commitment to improve, thus making it a brilliant environment to be part of. Children are committed to learning, whilst staff are offered excellent support and professional development opportunities, with a very strong and confident leadership team.

The role is a full time position, starting after February half term. The ideal candidate will have the ability to teach both Art & Photography. This role is open to both NQT/ECT's and fully qualified teachers. This is a longer term position; starting after February half term & will continue until the rest of the academic year.

The ideal Art and Photography Teacher will:

Have experience teaching Art across KS3- KS5
Would consider applicants with experience up to KS4
Ability to teach Photography
Be subject to an enhanced DBS police check and must have relevant teaching qualifications for working in UK schools
Have a passion for working in education
Have strong behaviour management skills
Have good knowledge and understanding of the Art & photography curriculum
Be organised, proactive and flexible As an Art and Photography Teacher your responsibilities include:

Plan and deliver engaging and challenging lessons in line with the English national curriculum
To help students to develop a lively, inquiring mind
Assessing and reporting students' progress and attainment
Building rapport with both staff and students
