We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Speech & Language Therapist (SLT) to take on a leadership role within the Falkirk SLT Team. You will be supporting the SLT coordinator and the leadership team to implement innovative and sector leading work that seeks to improve outcomes for children with a range of communication needs in Forth Valley.
The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic and supportive leadership team across Forth Valley and will have team leader responsibilities within the Falkirk Team. They will be able to demonstrate a high level of skill in empowering others, promoting wellbeing and building a culture where staff can feel safe to innovate and perform at a high level.
The role will also include a clinical remit. We are looking for candidates who ideally have significant experience in working in partnership with Education.
The successful candidate will support the team members who are working in various settings, delivering excellent services at a universal, targeted and specialist level. Ability and willingness to travel throughout the area of service delivery is essential for this post.
Excellent communication skills are essential, along with the ability to build partnerships with team members from both SLT and partner agencies.
Whilst the post is full time, part time hours will be considered.
