Your new role
Reporting to Head of Finance you main duties will include:
Weekly reporting and analysis on operational performance including material and labour variances. Maintenance and review of standard costs with quarterly updates In depth analysis of purchase price variance, highlighting key trends and ensuring these are addressed. Responsibility for monthly sales and margin forecasting based on demand plans and price forecasts Providing commercial costings for existing products and new development Playing a key role in the month end process, with responsibility for analysing variances to budget and preparation of stock reconciliations Preparation of monthly commercial accruals, prepayments and provisions Assistance with external audit processes Ad-hoc project work

What you'll need to succeed
Part qualified with high level of commercial acumen Good communication and interpersonal skills. Confidence to build relationships with internal stakeholders Ability to develop the commercial finance function with a strong desire to progress Ability to work independently and efficiently Drive to improve processes and procedures Good time management, planning and organizational skills Ability to turn analysis into actions Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
