Armstrong Knight are delighted to have partnered with one of the fastest growing specialist lending companies in the UK. Due to unparalleled levels of growth and expansion our client is now seeking to recruit a Finance Manager to join their new Finance operation, based in the City of London.

JOB DESCRIPTION - FINANCE MANAGER

Role objectives:

- To ensure that the Finance tasks, detailed below, are completed to a high standard

- To work closely with the Financial Controller and Finance Director in establishing a best in class finance function

Key responsibilities:

- Overall responsibility for monthly financial accounting

- Preparing month end pack which includes:

o Management Accounts

o Board Report

o Analysis of business performance

- Leading year end audit process

- Regulatory reporting including PSD and MLAR returns

- Production of daily bank covenant reporting

- Managing day to day treasury operations

- Preparation and submission of tax returns

- Ad-hoc project work to support business strategy

- Supervision of Accounts Assistant

Experience and qualifications:

- An ACCA/ACA/CIMA Qualified accountant, or newly qualified.

- Financial Services experience (particularly lending company experience) desirable

- Minimum 3 years previous experience in a finance role

- Proficiency in MS Excel

- Knowledge of an accounting software package
