More About the Sales Assistant- Key Holder Role:

At AO we are passionate about delivering an excellent customer experience and this starts with you. You will be the face of AO to ensure a remarkable in-store experience for everyone that steps foot into our exciting new stores.

As the Sales Assistant- Key Holder you will be a key component in ensuring our customers have the best possible journey by being welcoming, approachable and knowledgeable about the products we sell.

The hours for the role are 12/8 hours per week on a rota between 8am - 8pm Monday to Friday and 8am - 8pm Saturday ,Sunday, store training hours.

Customer Experience is at the heart of everything we do and the foundation of our success lies on keeping it the best it can be.

You will be trained as an expert in our product range to be best placed in delivering knowledge and advice on everything from Cookers to Laptops, plus Kettles and Toasters to Vacuum Cleaners. You will also be trained in something that's important to all AO'ers, wherever they work... treating every customer like your Gran!

Here's What You Can Expect To Be Doing As Our Sales Assistant- Key Holder:

Store preparation and opening including price changes, float set up and product set up.

End of day in our stores, tilling up, sending daily feedback and closing the store.

Welcoming customers and delivering a world class experience.

Supporting the customer with product and technical advice and selling sales & Insurance products.

Ensuring the store is clean and tidy, the displays are visually pleasing, and stock is replenished. Actioning planogram changes and window display changes.

Working with the delivery team to check off deliveries.

Processing payments at till point.

Selling products and services to our customers.

Selling and informing customer of the ao care plan we offer

Overseeing the running of the store in the absents of the leadership team

Adopting a target driven attitude to ensure you exceed and excel your KPI's

Demonstrate a positive, determined and driven mindset and attitude to succeed.

Ability to demonstrate a resilient and tenacious attitude to working under pressure in a fast-paced challenging role

As part of this role lone working is to be expected, also management of your own time and workload

A Few Things About Our Ideal Sales Assistant- Key Holder:

You'll have a passion for customer service - ideally, you're already experienced in Retail and have been a key holder but that isn't the be all and end all!

You will be interested about electricals and eager to learn more - we will ensure that you get great training so you can help our customers as much as possible

Be exceptional in the moments that matter... Customers will always remember how you made them feel

You'll bring a positive energy into the store each day to ensure we have the happiest customers.

You should be confident to deal with a range of queries and hold excellent communication skills
